Many Arsenal fans have been left to buzz over an update from the Daily Telegraph on Daniel Ek.
As per the news outlet, the Swedish billionaire and his team of ‘Invincibles’ are committed to launching a takeover bid for the North London club despite Stan Kroenke claiming that it is not for sale.
Ek is reportedly ready to table an offer worth £1.8bn within the next 10 days, but is also prepared to play the long game if that’s what it takes.
Sources close to the Spotify founder have insisted that he remains unmoved by Kroenke’s latest stance, as him and Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira have been described as being ‘in it for the long haul’.
Kroenke insisting that the Emirates Stadium faithful are not for sale had come as a blow to several Gunners supporters, but the fact that Ek and his ‘Invincibles’ team are still committed to launching a bid and are willing to be patient in trying to secure a takeover has come as a welcome boost.
